Olga Vasenina – Singer, Vocal Coach, and Head of Studio

Olga Vasenina is a Russian singer, vocal coach, and director of musical productions. Her artistic path began in Tolyatti, on the banks of the Volga River. At the age of 14, she won the Grand Prix at a vocal competition, and two years later became a laureate of a major contest broadcast on Channel One in Moscow. The award granted her the opportunity to study at the prestigious Gnessin Academy under Professor Lyudmila Afanasieva, where she graduated with honors.
Vasenina has performed alongside well-known Russian artists, including working as a backing vocalist for Alsou, and later as a soloist at the Moscow Variety Theatre, often referred to as the “Moscow Moulin Rouge.” Her voice has been featured in numerous commercial campaigns (Palmolive, Maisky Tea, Vitamishki, Complivit), as well as radio broadcasts on Hit FM, Radio Yugra, and other national stations. She has also toured extensively in Europe, performing in Austria, France, and Italy.
In addition to her vocal career, Vasenina studied stage directing at the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts under Yuri Cherenkov. She later gained international experience working at the renowned Metrophonic studio in London, contributing as both a session vocalist and songwriter. During this period, she released several solo albums and composed original material, including the soundtrack “For You” for the feature film Daring Days.
Her professional activities also extend to pedagogy. Vasenina has served as a leading vocal instructor at the Morning Star Music Academy (Channel One, Krasny Kvadrat), as well as teaching actors in Daria Mikhailova’s studio at ISI. Many of her students have achieved significant success: winners of international competitions, recording artists, theater performers, participants in The Voice Kids, and semifinalists of the New Wave Junior. In 2020, her vocal studio was awarded the honorary title of “Leading Creative Collective of Moscow.”
Today, Olga Vasenina continues to combine performing, directing, and teaching. She regards vocal art not only as a profession but as a way of life — a universal language of expression that she helps her students and audiences to discover and embrace.
